Why You Should do this Course by Kathryn Hanff, Hippocrates Health Educator As a Nutritional Coach i often see clients with health problems, digestive disorders, stress, low energy or mood issues that are almost certainly related to their diet, but i don't always have the time to give them a full background on healthy eating. Most of them think that they are eating a healthy diet already but in reality they are a long way off. The dietary plans and health information available through books and the media is often confusing and misleading. There is so much more that we know about healthy eating that hasn’t yet made it into the public domain. This one-day course gives you a fascinating insight into the possibilities for good health through an indiginous diet. From my experience, when you eat this way for a sustained period your mind starts to become very clear, your body feels light, you look healthy, you get more enthusistic about life and you are much more likely to want to exercise. I know from my own experience and my experience with clients that when you change your diet properly, you change your life too. This is a powerful process which requires participants to be self-motivated and committed. |

Part 1 - What humans should eat - Evolution of the human diet and indiginous eating patterns, plus introduction to a healthy eating plan. Part 2 - How the digestive system works - Anatomy, physiology and the things that can go wrong when you eat the wrong foods. How to overcome IBS, plus how an indiginous diet will help you live longer and stay slim. |

Part 3 - The psychology of eating - The reasons why people find it hard to stick to the things they know are good for them. Part 4 - Detoxification and how it really works - An in depth look at cleanses, fasting and other forms of detoxification with demonstrations of skin brushing and other detox tools Part 5 - ..How to achieve optimal nutrition levels - A look at which foods contain which nutrients and what they’re needed for, plus a look at why supplements don’t work, an introduction to superfoods and a juicing demonstration. Part 6 - Preparing healthy food - A cooking demonstration including tips and ideas for having a varied, tasty and healthy diet. |
