Frances Aylen joined the Light Centre in May 2007, moving from her practice in Paddington. She also works at a mother's and babies clinic in Dartmouth Park which she began in September 2006. She likes to treat using a range of techniques which often blend massage, manipulation, visceral osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, and healing. Sometimes she will use only one treatment method and that will be whatever is appropriate to the person and their presenting problem. Babies are treated using cranial osteopathy.

Frances qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (1995- 1999)with a BSc Hons Ost she has continued her osteopathic training with diplomas in Cranial Osteopathy and Paediatric Osteopathy and is a member of the BSO Cranial faculty teaching at a post graduate level (2004-)

She is also a fully accredited Healer, College of Psychic Studies (2004-2006)and will be teaching on the intensive healing diploma at the CPS from Semptember 2007.

Before this her treatment background lay in swedish massage and aromatherapy, she trained with Clare Maxwell-Hudson(1992-1993) and she went on to set up her own massage practice until qualifying as an osteopath in 1999.Her original interest was lterature based; she was a jouramalist at the Observer (1992-1994) and has a BA and Ma in English Literature from Oxford University (1989-1992).
