The treatment begins with using particular techniques to help the body and mind relax, causing less resistance to be present, enabling the therapist to work at releasing deep muscular tension as well as superficial.
A combination of Swedish massage, deep tissue muscular work, pressure point stimulation, muscle manipulation, stretching and moving the body and breath work is used to relax the body, aid flexibility and release tension.
Bodywork Massage Therapy if received on a regular basis can be used as a preventative therapy, supporting good health and emotional well being and enhancing the body’s self-healing abilities.
It is beneficial for a wide range of conditions including;
- Stress related disorders such as insomnia/anxiety
- Aches and pains caused by muscular tension

Treatments are generally given on a couch lying down. Sessions are available starting from 45mins to 90mins and please note that ALL sessions begin with a consultation/update to assess the best form of treatment for the person.
