I am an experienced physiotherapist specialising in spinal manipulation, manual therapy and sports rehabilitation.
I treat all musculoskeletal conditions from neck and back pain to all sport related injuries. I have worked for the Newcastle Falcons Rugby team and the Womens Welsh Hockey team. In 2007, I gained a MSc in manipulation, manual and sports rehabilitation at the University of Western Australia.
I am also a qualified acupuncturist in musculoskeletal injuries and also teach Pilates in both mat work and equipment. In the last 3 years, I have been based in London working with sport and overuse injuries.
With my expertise, I am able to assess, diagnose and treat all kinds of musculoskeletal injuries whether it is an acute onset of neck and back pain from spending many long days sitting at a desk, lifting something heavy or sleeping awkwardly to a more complex long standing neck or back condition.
I treat many triathletes and marathon runners and devise specific training programmes for that individual in order to keep them injury free and maintain their fitness to compete in all major events. Though, sustaining an injury is not welcome, it often highlights areas in training that are unconsciously being ignored.
Treatment intervention will bridge the void with knowledge and a better understanding, thus preventing the reoccurrence of the same injury, leading to new improved training programme.
