Biography I originally trained in the STOTT pilates method in Cape Town whilst working in the Health and Fitness profession. I then moved to London and was trained and certified in the Body Control Pilates method and became a member of the Body Control Pilates Association. I work with the Pilates principles and exercises to enhance body awareness, helping to restore your natural movement capacity. I teach Pilates as a process of learning new and improved movement habits and understanding their functional applications. You will immediately be able to adapt what you learn in class to your daily activities. You will often feel a significant difference after just a few lessons. Classes Monday 9.30am-10.30am (all levels drop in) Monday 12.30pm-1.15pm (all levels drop in) Wednesday 12.30pm-1.15pm – (all levels drop in) Thursdays 10.30-11.30am – (beginners drop in) A class structured to attendees’ abilities, with specific emphasis on the principles and technique of the Pilates method. The level will be geared towards beginners but will also challenge the more experienced to focus on their weak spots. Thursday 9.15am-10.15am – Intermediate This class is definitely not for the uninitiated! Experience of the Pilates method and a level of strength is required to meet the challenge of a more advanced programme.
