Unlike the mind, the body never lies, and has the potential to guide us towards resolving our everyday questions and problems. In fact, ‘dis-ease’ often resides in the body through somatic ailments when we disconnect from our bodies insights, which are fundamentally our key to authenticity and unique Truth.
By facilitating an exploration of inhabiting the body through yoga, creative outlets such as drawing, simple writing, and visualisations, this workshop will open the opportunity to develop a greater awareness of the intuitive wisdom the body holds, in order to live a more wholesome, balanced life.
This three hour workshop aims to foster creativity, consciousness, and confidence as we deepen our reverence and relationship to our wondrous bodies!
As we take a back seat from telling the body what to do, and begin to listen to what the body has to say, we expand our sense of spontaneity and freedom in our lives both on and off the mat. Our movement and general way of being becomes increasingly stable and effortless as we relate and work with our body rather than against it.
