Georgina trained as a dancer in classical dance, and then experienced a back injury, due to the physical strain on her body.
This led her to a journey of self awareness, and study of the nature of our body and mind.
Georgina trained in the Pilates technique with Alan Herdman in 2000, and the Gyrotonic methodology in 2003. She then developed an interest in Meditation, and went on to study Subtle Yoga Psychology, and Self Healing forms with Mika Hadar.
In 2006, Georgina then trained in Cranio Sacral therapy, with Franklyn Sills, at the Karuna Institute in Devon – qualifying in 2008.
Georgina has a special interest in helping people to understand the patterns held in their body, which can have a big part to play in our physical and emotional well being.
The more we start to understand them, the more we can gently let go of them, and start to find a deeper place of strength and stability in our body. This enables us to feel stronger and clearer in our mind, so that we can live in our world with more clarity and ease.
Cranio Sacral therapy can help us to feel a deeper sense of connection of health in our body, rather than the superficial wave forms that we tend to rely on, in our daily lives. The session involves going into a deep relaxation, while you are gently held either, by your head, spine or feet
As the body starts to relax into a deeper state, it can have an opportunity to let go of tension or tightness that may be held, and settle into a deeper, more balanced state. This can help you to feel calmer and clearer, and often can feel deeply refreshed and rebalanced.
