I graduated from the London School of Osteopathy (LSO) with a BSc (Hons) in osteopathy having gained extensive clinical experience over 5 years from my work in the LSO clinic.
Since qualifying I have been trained in Western Medical Acupuncture and can combine this with osteopathic treatment.
Osteopathic treatment does not only target symptoms but treats the parts of the body that have caused the symptoms. I take a holistic approach when treating my patients and believe that your whole body will work well if good alignment and symmetry is restored and maintained. A firm belief in the ability of the body to heal itself and regenerate is also at the core of my approach to osteopathy and healthcare.
I am experienced in treating a wide range of patients, from office workers with postural strains to older people with nagging joint pain and have a particular interest in posture and helping patients to recognise and address this factor in the pursuit of long-term health.
I am a member of the British Osteopathic Association and registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
I enjoy keeping fit and have run the London Marathon on three occasions with a personal best of 3hr 09mins.
