Nicole initially trained as a ballet dancer from the age of 4, and went on to dance and teach professionally in the United States.
Due to her interest in helping others gain a better awareness of their bodies, Nicole became a personal trainer before realising her greater connection to yoga.
Through studying with a variety of Vinyasa yoga teachers in Colorado, Nicole decided to gain her teaching qualifications through the traditional Sivananda school in the Himalayan mountains of India.
Alongside her lifelong dedication to her yoga practice, Nicole is now also studying transpersonal counselling and psychotherapy,
As a yoga instructor, Nicole brings her multidisciplinary knowledge to inspire her classes. It is a pleasure to see students develop confidence, as they begin to adjust their lifestyles to suit their growing need for balance, and come to realise what magnificent individuals they truly are.
Vinyasa yoga is a continuous flow of asana postures connected to the breath.Set to music, each class consists of a progressive dynamic sequence, incorporating floor work, standing and balancing poses, forward and backbends, twists, hip openers and inversions. Philosophies and themes are tide in as intentions and focal points beyond the breath. This powerful practice will increase strength and release tension stored in the body and mind.
As we observe the connection between life and what we experience on our mat, we become better equipped to apply skills and awareness of yoga to the everyday situations that culminate our existence.
