Zanna has been involved in the mind, body, spirit field for more than 20 years.
She has been interested in and studied a variety of different philosophies, worked in holistic centres, and developed The Nutri Centre Bookshop in London.
She originally learnt about Lomi Lomi massage and the Hawaiian philosophy behind it on the Big Island, Hawaii in 2004. Since then she has studied Lomi Lomi and Kahuna massage with several teachers. She has also studied anatomy & physiology and holistic massage gaining her ITEC qualifications with merit.
Zanna has continued to expand her awareness and knowledge doing courses and workshops in Pregnancy Massage, Deep Tissue and other healing modules. She is a member of CThA, fully qualified and insured.
Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage is traditionally a long oil massage where the practitioner uses their forearms, hands and elbows; it is given with the practitioner’s full focus in the Hawaiian spirit of aloha, harmonizing the mind body & soul. With long rhythmic strokes that vary in depth and intensity and continuous movement around the body, Lomi Lomi is flowing and dynamic – it clears, nurtures, relaxes and is highly beneficial to the muscular, circulatory, lymphatic, immune and digestive systems. This massage is excellent for releasing the stress that can be caused by modern living.
Because of the use of oil and for the flow of the massage it is preferable to receive Lomi Lomi without any clothes; you will be kept covered with a loincloth or sarong throughout the massage. Hawaiian Massage for Pregnancy is a gentle but effective massage for the mother to be. It calm the mind & emotions while soothing the body, helping to relieve muscular aches and pains. It can help prevent stretch marks & varicose veins, improve circulation, alleviate stress on weight-bearing joints and reduce water retention.
Each treatment is individual taking into consideration your requirements and comfort. Usually the most comfortable position is lying on your side supported with pillows. Please confirm with your midwife or doctor that you are fine to receive massage treatments.
Treatment

The oil used is a blend of sweet almond and fractionated coconut oils; they are of a high quality and excellent for the skin.
