– Chris, London

– Anon, London
‘This has been wonderful and sooo helpful – thank you so much! I really enjoyed learning to let go…’
– Camilla, London
‘Seems to be very effective! Great experience and I’ve learned lots of new skills’
– Ann, London
‘The practice…has changed the way I approach stressful situations – I can regain my calm much more easily. I joined to understand how to meditate effectively and thanks to Alex I did’
– Erica, London
‘What I have learned has enabled me…to approach life in a much more positive and compassionate way. I told a friend that I wish I had done it years ago… More practically, I feel like I learned some valuable tools to make myself more resilient to whatever life throws at me. The thing that has meant the most to me (and which I think will be a lifelong practice) is the idea of acceptance (of oneself and one’s life), which I believe is the only way to be happy!’
– Anon, London.

ABOUT ALEX NEWTE HARDIE:
Mindfulness facilitator and naturopath, Alex Newte Hardie, spent two years as the resident naturopath at the University of Westminster before she joined the Light Centre in 2013. Alex is a General Health Practitioner at the Belgravia branch running Holistic Health Screenings alongside teaching and her naturopathy and mindfulness clinic.
During her early years in clinical practice, Alex identified stress to be the root cause or primary aggravator of her own and her patients’ health conditions. This led her to cultivate her own mindfulness practice and study of mindfulness meditation, and she completed her Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy teacher training at the start of 2013. She has been teaching courses at the centre and around London ever since.
Alex is registered with the General Council and Register of Naturopaths and studied with Enter Mindfulness, recognised as gold-standard training by the UK Network of Mindfulness-Based Teacher Trainers.
