Georgina has a background in ballet and contemporary dance and began her healing journey after suffering a back injury. Her back injury was to be the start of an unfolding discovery of the body and mind. Our emotions and experience can be a huge part of how we hold our body and perceive our world. Past experiences of shock and trauma can be held in the body and become stuck, which can prevent the flow of energy and health through our body. By gently relaxing our body and mind and resting in the present moment, our body can have a chance to release stress and tension. This can allow our body to rebalance into a place of health and vitality, allowing a more even flow of energy. Past traumas can be gently released in a safe way, bringing our body into a deeper place of health and balance, helping us to feel lighter, more fluid and a deeper connection to our true nature.
Georgina trained with Franklyn Sills at Karuna Institute, Devon, qualifying in 2008. She also teaches Pilates, Gyrotonic, Subtle Yoga, and Meditation.
