ABOUT FRANCESCA BLECHNER:
Francesca has 16 years experience as a Sports Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer and is a qualified yoga teacher. She has a sound understanding of human movement and exercise and combines an array of tools to create a bespoke treatment for her clients depending on their individual needs.
The Muscle Activation technique makes simple changes to incorrectly functioning muscles. Changing quickly from a state of tension and pain, to a state of ease of movement, facilitating the body to make immediate shifts towards resilience, strength and speed. A stress free body that is in a strong relaxed state can work at full capacity and excellent performance.
Francesca has worked with a wide variety of clients in London, Saudi Arabia, Doha, New York and Tuscany including royalty, professional athletes, celebrities, business executives, gym warriors, Mum’s and office workers. Her extensive knowledge of nutrition, fitness, movement and yoga is a powerful combination in advising her clients with the best after care.
Muscle Activation Bodywork
The Muscle Activation uses simple muscle resistance and flexibility tests so that changes can be clearly measured. Next the body is activated to breathe correctly, then muscle firing patterns are assessed and activation points are stimulated facilitating muscles and structures to go back to their correct patterns. The body and brain can then integrate at the patterns reset.
Francesca treats the body as one whole integrated system having seen shoulder pain diminish by simply correcting muscle firing patterns at the hip and hip function restored simply by activating correct breathing.
The results can be incredible and instant. The simple treatment exercises can then be taught specifically for you to do at home so they can continue the effect.
As well as treating injuries and enhancing sporting performance, it’s a powerful tool for stress management, and can quickly break common patterns of movement dysfunction and chronic pain.
