As a model since the age of 16, it has always been important for Melinda to stay in shape and feel balanced, despite heavy travelling. When she discovered Bikram yoga a few years ago, she realised the healing benefits it had on her body and wellbeing. After years of sustained travel, Melinda decided to find a base in London to give her time to focus on her practice. Frequent classes helped her feel more balanced and notice how yoga is so much more than a physical practice.
Melinda decided to become a teacher as she wants to share this impactful practice with others! To further her journey, I took a 200hr Ashtanga Vinyasa Rocket Teacher Training with The Yoga People, who had trained many of her favourite teachers in London.
Melinda believes Yoga helps us to focus and in turn, relieves us from our everyday stresses. Her aim with teaching is to help students achieve heightened awareness within their true selves, whilst developing new skills through their practice.
