After studying dance throughout her youth, Catia decided she required a more profound life experience, so she put her dream aside and went on to other things, working and traveling as often as she could.
In 2004 her yoga journey took its first steps and since then, it has been a healing experience, which has deeply changed her views on life. Her quest led her to try many styles of yoga, from Ashtanga to Sivananda. She drew inspiration from David Swenson, Mathew Sweeney, Anne Marie Newland, Lara Bauman and Stewart Gilchrist, who still remains her main teacher and inspiration today. She continues to work alongside him, assisting/mentoring during teacher trainings.
Catia has taught amazing people from all walks of life and backgrounds and nothing gives her more pleasure than to see a positive change happen in her students’ lives.
Catia’s classes incorporate the classics of yoga: philosophy, mantra, fragrant burning incense with a combination of fresh sound tracks and a fluid dynamic yoga practice. She feels that whatever she gives in a class is magnified and returned! She teaches with warmth and sincerity and her smile is a breath of fresh air!
Catia’s passion for teaching allows her to fly her all over the world and UK on yoga retreats and workshops. She is also a Reiki therapist/ healer.
