Maxine approaches her practise and her teaching from a place of healing. She believes that when you approach your practise with love, it will deliver exactly that.

Maintaining a very physically demanding asana practise for several years, she began experiencing injuries and feeling ‘trapped’ in her body. She became very focused on alignment and anatomy for safe practising and physical healing which led her to many wonderful teachers and health practitioners, allowing her to gain freedom in both her body and her mind through study and practise.

Relearning much that she had been taught, she now has a deep respect and love for her body, practising and teaching a slower paced but strong vinyasa flow.

Inspired by Donna Farhi, Tara Judelle and Meghan Currie and practising with Jean Hall, Anna Ashby, Nathalie Mukusheva & others in London, expect a creative and fun flow focused within the energetics of the subtle body, with useful alignment cues and strength drills throughout.
