Saori was introduced to Yoga when she first moved to London in 2002 and has become a keen practitioner ever since. She has undertaken the first teacher training course with Yoga London and travelled around the world with Yoga People for advanced teacher trainings under the Yoga Alliance.
She has developed a deep understanding of Yoga history, philosophy and Chakra system that relates to both body and mind and been a keen practitioner and learner. She was also drawn into Yoga anatomy when she was recovering from a minor sport injury and also became a certified Ayurveda Yoga Massage therapist.
She aims to teach, through Yoga, an appreciation of our present state of being, a mindfulness to help counteract the stresses of daily life.
Saori’s approach is rooted in the balance of Yin and Yan, Moon and Sun. Usual class is held with breathing technique (Pranayama) through physical pose (Asana) practice that combine the deep grounding of Yin and strong dynamic Vinyasa, and relaxation through Savasana at the end of the class. Though the classes are demanding and challenging, she uses a non-competitive approach for every participant to allow them to challenge their own physical and emotional boundaries.
Saori shares her knowledge with all students to remove any attachments (thoughts and fears that may bring negative energy) and instead brings positive vision, kindness and love into their lives by understanding and accepting the true self, inviting purity into the body and mind.
